Job Description:
As a Professional Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading conceptual and detailed design development for complex projects.
- Delivering efficient structural engineering solutions aligned with project specifications.
- Conducting detailed structural designs using advanced software, supplemented by first-principle hand calculations.
- Supporting budget planning, resource allocation, and outsourced work coordination.
- Preparing high-quality technical reports with clear presentation.
- Managing project commercial aspects, including financial oversight and forecasting.
- Supervising engineers and technicians in construction checks, ensuring compliance with design standards.
- Upholding quality assurance throughout project life cycles.
- Engaging with clients on project matters and maintaining strong communication.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Mentoring and guiding graduate engineers.
Qualifications:
- BSc or BEng in Structural Engineering.
- Professional registration (PrEng / PrTech Eng).
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- 2-3 years of post-professional registration experience.
Q3: Proficient in technical report writing. - Strong project financial management skills (budgeting, forecasting, invoicing).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
