Job Description
We are looking for a driven and client-focused Relationship Manager I, Private Bank to join Standard Bank’s team. This role focuses on expanding, managing, and retaining a portfolio of high-net-worth clients by delivering tailored financial solutions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients through bespoke financial advice, proactive engagement, and superior service.
  • Conduct detailed financial assessments, develop customised banking strategies, and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Monitor market trends, evaluate competitive dynamics, and generate performance insights to guide strategic decisions and business growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • FAIS-aligned Degree in Business Commerce (NQF7 or higher).

Essential Experience:

  • 5-7 years in sales, service, relationship management, credit applications, and financial expertise within financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring, managing, and retaining high-net-worth clients with tailored solutions and relationship-building.
  • Strong financial and credit analysis skills, including debt restructuring and regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products, processes, and risk management to drive informed decisions and business growth.
