Role Purpose
Investigate and validate buildings claims to determine their legitimacy based on Momentum Insure policy terms, ensuring accurate assessments and fair resolutions.

Requirements

  • Matric or equivalent SAQA-accredited qualification
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Short Term Insurance
  • 2–3 years’ experience in building assessing
  • 2–3 years’ experience in non-motor claims assessing
  • Knowledge of South African building regulations
  • Investigative work experience (advantageous)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Validate and quantify losses, mediating between clients and brokers
  • Investigate buildings claims, ensuring settlements, rejections, or repairs align with SLAs
  • Accurately assess and manage immovable property damage claims
  • Provide claims feedback and support, maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Report on claims with actionable recommendations
  • Detect fraudulent claims through thorough validation and loss adjusting
  • Complete administrative tasks on time
  • Mitigate fraud risks by recommending preventative measures
  • Document findings and finalize claim reports
  • Gather and analyze evidence for claims resolution
  • Present claims at Claims Forum for review
