Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has exciting opportunities in our Quality Assurance department. We are looking for talented individuals with the relevant skills and experience to fill Microbiologist roles, based in Bloemfontein.
Key Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Microbiologist is to conduct analytical and microbiological quality control tests, compile reports, and communicate any out-of-line specifications. This ensures that the quality of products and packaging is maintained according to company standards, minimizes costs, and provides records for audit purposes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct and record visual quality control tests.

Perform and document physical quality control tests.

Inspect raw materials and ensure they meet quality standards.

Complete and issue detailed reports on findings.

Skills, Experience & Education

Matric with Mathematics and Science.

Completed a 3-year tertiary qualification (BSc in Microbiology, ND in Food Technology, or ND in Biotechnology).

At least 2 years of quality control experience in an FMCG environment, with a focus on microbiology.
