Duties and Responsibilities:
Production Acceptance
- Sign production transfer sheets to accept products into the magazine.
- Make relevant entries in the magazine register.
Dispatch Preparation
- Place consignee detail stickers on ordered products.
- Update magazine register entries for dispatched goods.
- Prepare products for loading.
Dispatch Management
- Ensure oldest products are dispatched first (FIFO principle).
- Minimize old or expired stock.
Stock Control
- Conduct daily stock counts per explosives regulations.
- Submit daily stock sheets to management.
Administrative Support
- Assist the magazine team with general administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate magazine register entries reflecting actual stock levels.
FIFO Compliance
- Prioritize oldest stock for dispatch.
- Keep expired or obsolete stock at a minimum.
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 1+ year of supply chain, explosives, or mining experience (advantageous).
- Experience maintaining explosives magazine registers (preferred).
