Dear Future Deal Maker (Employee Benefits – Group Retirement and Risk Schemes)

Join FirstRand as an Employee Benefits Deal Maker and drive sales performance by building strategic relationships across channels and pillars. This role offers specialist advice and supports distribution processes to achieve financial metrics aligned with key performance deliverables.

Are you someone who can:

  • Deliver sales targets and grow portfolios by managing deals from origination to conclusion while understanding customer needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to quality standards.
  • Handle onboarding administration, including reporting and stakeholder documentation.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across commercial teams and within FNB Employee Benefits.
  • Contribute to an inclusive and high-performing team environment.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the customer base with profitable clients.
    Multiple benefits will be provided Input into operational process improvements.
  • Manage risks within your area of responsibility.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Achieve financial targets while upholding service levels.
  • Execute, track, and drive campaign performance.
  • Compile sales tracking reports.
  • Take ownership of your professional development.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Residency in Bloemfontein (responsible for Free State and Northern Cape).
  • NQF 7 or a relevant degree.
  • FAIS accreditation (advantageous).
  • Relevant regulatory certifications (1.1, 1.3, 1.22, 1.7, 1.20, 1.5, 1.14).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
  • Specialist client relationship management skills.
  • Investment product knowledge.
  • Professional/technical learning expertise.
  • Strong financial awareness.
  • Innovative and results-driven thinking.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
