Main Purpose of the Role:
Drive revenue growth by selling DSV’s Road Logistics services and solutions, focusing on acquiring new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Road Logistics.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline for sustained growth.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve service-related concerns efficiently.
  • Represent DSV’s brand with professionalism and integrity.
  • Demonstrate expertise in domestic courier, distribution, and cross-border logistics (BLNE).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Travel regularly within KwaZulu-Natal to engage with clients.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the logistics industry.
  • Proven sales achievements in logistics or related fields.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle.
  • Strong track record in lead generation and meeting sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Ability to research and develop potential client leads.
  • Collaborative team player with independent work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, including client presentations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
  • Documented sales performance (proof required).
  • Post-matric sales qualifications (advantageous).

Advantageous Skills:

  • Exceptional time management and prioritization.
  • Adaptability to new sales strategies.
  • In-depth product knowledge.
  • Creative problem-solving for client needs.

Computer Proficiency:

  • Essential: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
