The Legends Agency is launching a new retail worksite distribution channel and seeks a Cape Town-based Insurance Sales Manager to take charge. If you excel in field-based leadership, securing employer group access, and driving success in government and group scheme insurance, this is your opportunity to shape the future of the industry.
Job Details:
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a top-performing insurance sales team
- Establish key relationships with municipalities, government departments, and employer groups
- Secure stop order and PERSAL access where applicable
- Deliver daily field coaching, performance reviews, and pipeline management
- Foster long-term partnerships with HR managers, decision-makers, and unions
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine strategy and expand nationally
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of insurance sales management experience, preferably in group schemes or government sectors
- RE5 certification (RE1 and/or 120 credits in Wealth Management preferred)
- Proven leadership in coaching and performance management
- Established networks in government/employer channels within Cape Town
- Track record in funeral or life cover sales under a worksite model
- Proficiency with tablet/laptop-based sales systems
- Based in Cape Town with willingness to travel regularly
