An established insurance company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial & Agri Underwriter to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional with strong commercial lines expertise and a client-focused approach to advance their career within a reputable organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing quotations
- Issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and internal stakeholders
- Recording details accurately on relevant systems
- Providing general office assistance and administrative support
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- NQF 4 Short-term Insurance Certificate
- RE5 Certification
- Completed Class of Business & Product Training
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in short-term insurance (commercial lines)
- Experience with Tial, Santam Policy Centre, and OMI systems (essential)
- DOFA confirmation from FSCA
