Service Advisor Administrator – Motus
Job Purpose
To provide prompt and quality services to customers related to vehicle servicing and repairs, acting as the key liaison between technicians and customers to ensure cost-effective solutions for both parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of departmental administration, including service sheets, invoices, job cards, warranty claims, and authorizations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer information to uphold service integrity.
- Manage and update the customer database with current contact details.
- Support the dealership in achieving industry-leading process standards.
- Continuously develop personal knowledge to stay updated on industry trends.
- Enhance customer experience by offering expert advice and recommendations.
- Promote awareness of all products and services to maximize customer value.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Greet and assist customers professionally to create a welcoming environment.
- Build collaborative partnerships to streamline service processes.
- Proactively address customer needs and resolve concerns effectively.
- Accurately assess and understand customer service requirements.
- Maintain ongoing communication regarding service updates or additional needs.
- Clearly explain service details to customers, involving technicians when necessary.
- Effectively manage and resolve customer complaints via dealer systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
- Basic technical knowledge (essential).
- Additional language proficiency (advantageous).
- 2-3 years of experience in the automotive service industry.
- Knowledge of OEM Group South Africa products.
- Familiarity with internal procedures and processes.
- Basic technical background and understanding.
- Numeracy and mathematical proficiency.
- Experience operating OEM systems.
