Job Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing all administrative functions within the store, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Manage and execute daily administrative tasks, including banking, price changes, staff scheduling, stock counts, and stationery control.
  2. Conduct daily cash reconciliation, verify sales records, and prepare deposits.
  3. Monitor and report discrepancies, refunds, and exchanges to the Store Manager.
  4. Oversee stock receipt and dispatch processes in line with company procedures.
  5. Submit daily documentation for stock movements to head office.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
  7. Plan, coordinate, and administer weekly and periodic stock counts.
  8. Prepare work schedules for Store Manager approval.
  9. Update pricing changes both electronically and manually.
  10. Administer stock-related reports (e.g., no sales, top sellers, negative stock).
  11. Manage stationery ordering and usage.
  12. Minimize costs and safeguard company assets within your scope.

Entry Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Own or reliable transport (shift work required)
  • Minimum 1 year of retail administration experience

General Responsibilities:

  1. Perform additional duties as directed by Senior Management.
  2. Complete mandatory and service-related training.
  3. Maintain strict confidentiality of all company information.
  4. Participate in performance appraisals and development reviews.
  5. Stay updated on current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  6. Support the implementation of new technologies and processes.
