What will you do?

  • Drive growth by developing and executing the retail branch strategy to expand Sanlam Retail Mass’s customer base and revenue.
  • Lead and align Sales Consultants’ activities, goals, and objectives with the branch strategy.
  • Foster a service culture to enhance client experiences within and beyond the branch.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient branch management and strategic business planning.
  • Monitor sales performance, establish service excellence, and ensure compliance with risk and quality standards.
  • Manage HR practices for direct reports, including talent development, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Track and report monthly sales and service activities.
  • Engage stakeholders, including Area Managers and community forums, to build strong relationships.

Education and Experience:

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • RE1 and RE5 certifications.
  • 120 Wealth Management credits OR a tertiary qualification recognized by the FSCA.
  • Annual Class of Business accreditation.
  • Compliance with CPD requirements (current and past cycles).
  • 5+ years of industry experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.

  • Sales strategies, stakeholder management, and customer engagement.
  • Regulatory frameworks and Sanlam product knowledge (preferred).
  • People management, business acumen, and data analytics.
  • Project management, problem-solving, and strong communication.
  • Leadership, adaptability, resilience, and organizational skills.
