About the Role
We’re seeking an Infrastructure Specialist (End User Computing) to join our DevOps Workplace team. You’ll design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT infrastructure for 18,000 users and 26,000 devices across our head office and branch network.
Collaborate with architects, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver modern workplace solutions using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Active Directory/Entra ID, Azure, and AWS. This role blends technical hands-on work with architectural influence and innovation.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Relevant IT qualification (degree/certifications in Microsoft/Azure/AWS).
- 5+ years in enterprise end-user computing (design, build, support).
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Active Directory/Entra ID.
- Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS) for device/identity management.
- Knowledge of endpoint security, compliance, and automation (PowerShell/Bash/Python).
- Experience in large-scale, multi-site environments.
Purpose Statement

Experience
Minimum:
- 5+ years in ICT (end-user computing).
- 3+ years in enterprise desktop hardware/software design & implementation.
- Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Ideal:
- 5+ years in enterprise EUC environments.
- 3+ years in enterprise desktop system design.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Tertiary qualification in IT/Computer Science.
Ideal:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science.
Knowledge
Minimum:
- End-user IT systems, desktop design, Windows OS, Active Directory/Group Policy.
- SCCM, endpoint security, scripting (PowerShell/Python), encryption, MDM.
- Cloud (Azure/AWS), Microsoft 365, Intune, SQL/NoSQL, RESTful APIs.
Ideal:
- Cloud solutions (Office 365, Azure), collaboration tools (Teams, Cisco), VDI (Citrix/VMware).
Skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office.
