JOB PURPOSE
As the Deputy Store Manager at Adidas Gateway, you will play a key role in driving sales and profitability by supporting store operations, staff development, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Your leadership will help create an exceptional customer experience while fostering a high-performance team culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Store Manager in optimizing staff productivity and minimizing payroll costs.
- Assist in performance evaluations, training, and development of store associates.
- Handle documentation for hiring, payroll, and personnel files in compliance with company standards.
- Ensure team adherence to Adidas retail policies, visual merchandising guidelines, and security protocols.
- Manage customer service initiatives and resolve complaints effectively.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by communicating stock levels and shortages.
- Collaborate on merchandising, promotions, and marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
- Uphold safety regulations and legal compliance in store operations.
- Develop leadership skills to prepare for future advancement within Adidas Retail.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma with at least 2 years of retail experience (or equivalent combination of education and training).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to analyze data, manage teams, and present to groups.
SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
- Supervisory experience with a focus on accountability and results.
