Finance Business Partner (Fixed Term Contract) – Hollard
Role Objectives:
Responsible for Financial Reporting, review of Business Unit KPIs and management accounts to ensure accurate analysis and evaluation of performance against strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage accounting functions and processes, including but not limited to:

Review journals for validity and accuracy

Review management accounts for validity and accuracy, submit review notes, and sign off on income statement and balance sheet accounts

Review reconciliations and address discrepancies and reconciling items

Ensure subledgers/systems reconcile to the GL

Prepare monthly financial packs, reporting, analysis, and commentary on portfolio profitability, presenting findings to Business Heads, Managers, or Regional Managers

Lead the budgeting process, forecasting, and variance analysis

Coordinate the planning and preparation of the annual audit

Support the Head of Finance with delegated tasks and projects

Assist in the implementation of IFRS 17

Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, training, supervision, and management

Maintain a robust control environment and engage with Internal Audit to address findings within agreed timelines

Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures
-
Build strong working relationships with Operations teams and key stakeholders
