Parts Manager – Westrand Multifranchise
Company: Motus
Motus Westrand Multifranchise is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee and optimize our parts department. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, exceptional customer service, and seamless operations to support our servicing and repair teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and place orders as needed.
- Generate purchase lists for required parts.
- Sell manufactured parts to customers and oversee shipment processes.
- Lead and delegate tasks to parts department staff.
- Oversee replacement procedures and evaluate new suppliers for quality improvements.
- Conduct training for new team members.
- Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Plan promotional campaigns for parts sales.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
- Prepare monthly and annual sales reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric (minimum requirement).
- Management qualification (advantageous).
- 3+ years of experience as a Parts Manager.
- Experience with DRIVE dealership management system (preferred).
- Knowledge of Honda, Subaru, or Mitsubishi parts (advantageous).
- Valid driver’s license.
Skills & Attributes:
- Computer literacy (DRIVE experience preferred).
- Strong retail parts experience and inventory monitoring knowledge.
- Leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent sales, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Keen attention to detail and team management capabilities.
- Ability to maintain a positive work environment and make quick decisions.
