Senior Specialist Key Accounts – EM South
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Drive profitable market share and net sales growth within wholesale accounts while advancing the adidas brand. Lead strategic initiatives to identify, develop, and execute strategies for accelerated brand growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall strategy for the Studio 88 group portfolio, aligned with global and market strategies, in collaboration with the Director Key Accounts.
- Ensure Net Sales growth through clear targets, actions, and continuous tracking of results. Analyze risks and uncover new business opportunities.
- Ensure the Studio 88 group adheres to adidas standards and best practices.
- Create Strategic account and marketing plans, presenting them to the Director Key Accounts.
- Support trade terms negotiation and enforcement.
- Establish an effective organizational framework for the key account team alongside the Director Key Accounts.
- Monitor KPIs and drive action completion based on reports.
- Track competitor and customer sell-through, recommending proactive measures.
- Provide realistic performance forecasts and plans for key accounts.
Key Relationships:
- Market: Sales Development, Go-to-Market Functions, Digital Partner Commerce, and Concept-to-Consumer teams.
- Cluster: Key Account Managers, Directors of Key Accounts, Brand, Customer Service, Sales Coordination, Business Development, HR, Planning, Logistics, and Finance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven success as a Key Account Manager.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in business planning and strategic development.
- Functional knowledge in Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and IT.
- High commercial and business acumen.
- Deep understanding of the adidas Group and sporting goods industry.
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
- Passion for sports, tournaments, and industry trends.
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Business Administration (Sales/Marketing focus).
- 4+ years in business roles, with 3+ years in sales (sporting goods preferred).
- Cross-functional experience in marketing, sales, or finance.
- Industry background in sporting goods, retail, or consumer goods.
