We are looking for a passionate and driven Warehouse Supervisor (Inventory) to join our team at our Cape Town Warehouse in Marconi Beam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily stock counts and investigate variances.
- Plan, organise, lead, and control warehouse inventory processes and the warehouse team to ensure high stock accuracy and process adherence.
- Perform daily checks and clean-ups of all stock locations in Ador, with detailed reporting on risks and potential financial losses.
- Communicate system misalignments between Ador and IQ to the warehouse manager and IQ support.
- Report damages daily, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions with the warehouse team.
- Minimize and report on obsolete/redundant stock to optimize working capital.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
- Implement control measures to highlight, address, and resolve errors and discrepancies.
- Ensure 95% bin accuracy through weekly verifications and management reports.
- Conduct weekly cyclical stock counts, investigate variances, and provide accurate reports.
- Prepare the warehouse for semi-annual stock counts.
- Meet daily reporting deadlines and provide regular updates to the warehouse manager.
- Perform root cause analysis on variances and provide concise validation reports.
- Manage bin locations and ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Enforce FIFO principles to prevent stock expiries.
- Report short-dated stock monthly.
- Oversee the inbound stock process, ensuring accurate stock receipt and timely GRV submissions.
- Verify inbound stock checks and maintain proper receiving documentation.
- Submit and file invoices, credit notes, and follow up on outstanding documents with Finance and Commercial Departments.
- Confirm receipted stock is captured accurately in the system.
- Update the stock receiving register daily.
- Ensure incoming goods are GRV’d and put away within 24 hours.
