Job Purpose
The IT Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications, ensuring clean, efficient, and reliable code. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance features while troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally, the developer will contribute to process improvement, staying updated with industry trends and innovations.
Job Scope
- Develop, write, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for software applications.
- Regularly refactor and optimize code to improve performance, security, and functionality.
- Implement unit tests and other testing methodologies to ensure robust and reliable software.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to design and refine software features.
- Actively engage in code reviews to uphold quality standards and share best practices.
- Translate user requirements into functional software solutions.
- Identify and resolve software defects, performance issues, and technical challenges.
- Enhance existing codebases for stability and efficiency.
- Document technical specifications, APIs, and system architecture for maintainability.
- Keep documentation updated to support knowledge sharing and scalability.
- Contribute innovative ideas during team discussions on software features and architecture.
- Participate in Agile practices like sprint planning and stand-ups to track progress and meet goals.

Qualifications
