What will you do?
- Drive customer base and revenue growth by developing and executing the retail branch strategy.
- Guide and align Sales Consultants’ activities with branch goals and objectives.
- Foster a service-driven culture to enhance client experiences within and beyond the branch.
- Oversee daily operations, branch strategy development, and business planning.
- Ensure sales targets are met and maintain high service standards.
- Champion compliance, quality, and risk management practices.
- Manage HR functions for direct reports (talent, performance, development, grievances, leave, etc.).
- Report monthly on sales and service performance.
- Build strategic relationships with stakeholders (Area Managers, Business Owners, community forums, etc.).
Education and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 certifications.
- 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognized tertiary qualification.
- Current Class of Business accreditation.
- CPD compliance (current and past cycles).
- 5+ years in the industry, including 3+ years in leadership.
- Service Management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Sales strategy and stakeholder management.
- Customer service excellence and regulatory knowledge.
- Familiarity with Sanlam products (advantageous).
- People management, business acumen, and data analytics.
- Project management, problem-solving, and strong communication.
- Leadership, adaptability, resilience, and organizational skills.
