As a Data Analyst at AFGRI, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will develop enterprise-scale data analytics solutions, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data models, pipelines, and reporting tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to implementing and governing the organization’s data platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy enterprise data models and advanced analytics solutions.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights.
- Analyze data trends and patterns to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and data requirements.
- Implement data governance and quality frameworks.
- Optimize Azure-based data solutions (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, etc.).
- Troubleshoot data-related issues with IT and engineering teams.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- BCom or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in Azure Enterprise Data Analysis (advantageous).
- ITIL or COBIT certification (advantageous).
Work Experience:
- 2–4 years in an IT environment.
- Hands-on experience with Azure data solutions, Power BI, Power Query, and T-SQL.
- Proven ability to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Agri-sector experience (advantageous).
Technical Competencies:
- Microsoft Azure Data Suite.
- Business intelligence tools and data visualization.
- Project management tools.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and planning skills.
- Team collaboration and adaptability.
- Ability to work under pressure.
