Purpose of the Job
The Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant drives the recruitment of top talent across multiple disciplines and experience levels. You will lead strategic efforts to attract, engage, and hire professionals and graduates while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
Collaborating with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leaders, you will play a key role in shaping talent strategies to meet the firm’s functional and strategic needs.
Job Description
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand recruitment needs and design tailored sourcing strategies, ensuring due diligence at every stage.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networks to identify top talent aligned with Deloitte’s values and goals.
- Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment progress and challenges.
- Lead offer negotiations, ensuring competitive proposals and a seamless candidate experience.
- Optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain data integrity and streamline hiring workflows.
- Champion diversity and inclusion in recruitment by promoting equitable and unbiased practices.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive engagement and relationship-building.
- Stay informed on industry trends and talent market dynamics to enhance recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Monitor and meet key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, agency spend reduction).
- Ensure accuracy in hiring documentation and data management.
- Support employer branding initiatives (career fairs, campus recruitment, webinars) to showcase Deloitte’s culture and opportunities.
- Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects and process improvements.
- Pursue learning opportunities to stay ahead in the field and enhance professional growth.
- Complete required training and certifications within set timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (postgraduate degree preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years in talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
