Pharmacist

Job Purpose:
Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care by ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, offering professional advice, and adhering to Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and accurate dispensing services, including generic substitution, in line with SAPC regulations and company standards.

Manage all operational activities of the dispensary, including stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administration.

Focus on core dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational efficiency and viability.

Oversee training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Interns in accordance with SAPC requirements.

Implement customer service initiatives to enhance the patient experience, drive customer loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres, to achieve business objectives.

Promote integration and collaboration with the clinic and healthcare aisles, offering customers a comprehensive healthcare experience.

Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
-
Registered Pharmacist with the SAPC (essential)

Retail pharmacy experience (desirable)
-
Unisolve system experience (desirable)
