Job Summary
To provide specialist advice and support in transaction monitoring and anti-money laundering (AML) investigations, ensuring effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Job Description
- Conduct detailed AML investigations, gathering relevant evidence and analyzing findings to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Scrutinize transaction data, assess trends, and escalate significant issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and value-adding investigation reports with actionable recommendations.
- Generate insights from alerts, suspicious transaction reports (STRs), and other regulatory filings to enhance decision-making.
- Maintain 100% SLA adherence by reporting STRs/SARs in line with country-specific requirements.
- Improve investigative methodologies and inform management of emerging trends and potential risks.
- Contribute to efficiency improvements within the automated transaction monitoring team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, particularly the Group Customer Monitoring Procedure Manual.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Law, Financial Crime Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AML, compliance, or investigations, preferably within a banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of AML policies and procedures, with experience in forensic investigations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of banking products, services, and operational processes.
- Experience working in a multinational organization with matrix reporting structures.

Education
Bachelor’s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Law, Military Science, Security, or related fields (Required).
