Job Purpose:
Perform analysis on raw materials, bulk, imported, finished products, and stability samples to ensure compliance with specifications. Supervise staff and maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in line with regulatory standards.
Key Job Outputs:
- Conduct release analysis and investigate OOS results.
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment (HPLC, UPLC, UV, AA, Flame, etc.).
- Review analytical reports, SOPs, methods, and specifications.
- Ensure GLP compliance and minimize consumable wastage.
- Train others in analytical techniques and liaise with production on OOS issues.
- Manage data integrity during HPLC analysis.
- Complete all required testing within shift schedules.
Requirements:
- BSc Chemistry/National Diploma/BTech in Analytical Chemistry.
- 4+ years’ pharmaceutical lab experience.
- Strong GMP/GLP knowledge and compendia methods (USP/BP).
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
