What will you do?
As a Broker Consultant, you will drive sales by engaging with senior brokers and key client companies. Your role involves promoting Sanlam products, managing broker relationships, processing requests, and ensuring efficient service delivery. You will act as the crucial link between brokers and Sanlam, fostering business growth in a dynamic and performance-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a robust portfolio of brokers to drive new business growth.
- Market and promote Sanlam’s financial products effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with brokers.
- Deliver exceptional service and support to brokers, enabling their practice growth.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.

Qualification and Experience
- Business/Commerce/Marketing/Legal degree.
- Postgraduate diploma in Financial Planning/RFP3/Wealth Management 3 (preferred).
- Proven sales and marketing orientation with goal-driven motivation.
- Minimum 3 years as a Broker Consultant, Business Consultant, or Business Development Manager in Life Insurance/Linked Investment Services.
Key Skills and Knowledge
- Strong portfolio-building and relationship management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services, especially life insurance.
- Expertise in sales, marketing, and third-party distribution.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (travel required).
