Job Description
Corporate Accountant (6 Month FTC)
- Provide financial and management accounting support to the Corporate Johannesburg and London Finance and Performance Management team.
- Ensure financial transactions and reporting comply with Group and statutory requirements.
- Record transactions in SAP and HFM as required.
- Review and validate data submissions for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist business teams with SAP and HFM-related queries.
- Prepare management accounts and financial statements.
- Reconcile statutory and regulatory returns (Taxation, CIPC, etc.).
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile loan accounts with relevant parties.
- Submit Holdac Insurance HFM data for monthly, forecast, and budget cycles.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and accounting papers as requested.
- Support special projects, including regression testing for D1 separation transactions.
Qualifications
- CA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
Experience
- Proficiency in HFM, SAP, Blackline, and Wdesk.
- Strong background in statutory reporting, financial analysis, and performance reporting.
- Experience in a multinational company of similar scale and complexity.
