Job Purpose:
Lead and manage the dispensary and clinic operations to deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, professional advice, compliance, and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care, including accurate dispensing, generic substitution, and professional counselling, in line with Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and SAPC regulations.

Manage all operational activities of the dispensary, including stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administration, ensuring compliance with merchandising standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure operational viability through sound financial management, focusing on dispensary and clinic targets, managing expenses, and taking proactive corrective action.

Lead, motivate, and develop employees, including learners and interns, to build capacity and capability to meet current and future business needs.

Schedule staff according to labour policies, ensuring departments are fully staffed, and manage weekly time, attendance, and HR record submissions.

Implement customer service initiatives that enhance the patient experience, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

Promote integration and collaboration with the clinic and healthcare aisle to offer customers a complete healthcare solution.

Drive cohesion between store operations, pharmacy, and clinic teams to ensure consistent service delivery.

Foster a high-performance culture that supports employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience post-community service

Minimum 1 year people management experience

Registration as Responsible Pharmacist with SAPC
