CA Financial Appointments is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller for a 6-month contract with a leading consumer goods client. This is your chance to manage key retail accounts and ensure smooth cash flow for a high-performing team dedicated to excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a debtor’s book for major retail clients (including Spar, Shoprite, and pick n pay)
- Proactively chasing payments, resolving queries, and ensuring timely invoice and statement delivery
- Escalating overdue accounts and supporting weekly reporting for leadership
- Processing claims efficiently, including portal-based systems, with precision
- Building strong client relationships while maintaining firm control on collections
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of credit control experience, preferably in FMCG
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Strong Excel proficiency (SAP experience is a plus)
- Detail-focused, with problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under deadlines
- Calm under pressure, capable of managing multiple priorities with confidence
