Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our Windows and Collaboration Team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Citrix and Microsoft systems. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, ensure system reliability, and maintain high standards of performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Innovation
- Lead the execution of Xen Server infrastructure, Citrix systems design, and implementation strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Microsoft Systems Administration and Infrastructure Management.
System Design and Implementation
- Deploy and manage Citrix-based systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and architect solutions aligned with business goals.
- Implement automation, scripting, and configuration management tools to streamline system deployment and maintenance.
System Administration and Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day administration of Citrix and Microsoft systems.
- Enforce security best practices to safeguard systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system availability.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with network engineers, security analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to support projects and integrated solutions.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage vendor interactions effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Citrix and Microsoft systems in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure (AZ-900, AZ-104), Citrix (CCA-V, CCP-V, CCE-V), or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in systems management and administration.
