JOB PURPOSE
Assist management in day-to-day store operations while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to all store policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide outstanding customer service in alignment with Adidas standards.
- Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and checks.
- Assist with product ticketing and verifying received merchandise against documentation.
- Support product flow from stockroom to sales floor as needed.
- Maintain security of company assets and inventory to minimize shrinkage.
- Collaborate in merchandise display setup, following guidelines from store management.
- Master point-of-sale systems and ensure compliance with policies.
- Utilize upselling techniques and product knowledge to drive sales and meet targets.
- Greet customers, assist with product selection, and act as a door greeter during peak times.
- Uphold general store cleanliness and organization.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Proven ability to meet sales goals
- Skilled in identifying and fulfilling customer needs
- Interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- High energy and enthusiasm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Matric certificate
- 0–1 years of retail experience preferred
