About the Role
Signa Opportunity is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and logistical support. The Administrator will ensure the smooth functioning of office operations, assist with business development activities, and support programme implementation under the guidance of the BDO and Centre Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage daily office operations for efficiency.
- Maintain organised filing systems (physical and electronic) for projects, clients, and compliance records.
- Draft correspondence, internal memos, and meeting agendas.
Scheduling and Coordination
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, coaching sessions, and appointments.
- Assist in venue bookings, catering arrangements, and material preparation.
- Maintain and update office calendars.
Client and Stakeholder Liaison
- Professionally handle calls, emails, and enquiries.
- Greet and direct visitors and incubatees.
- Support communication follow-ups with clients and participants.
Data Capturing and Record Management
- Capture and update data on the E-Thuse system and spreadsheets.
- Assist in compiling reports and compliance submissions.
Procurement and Financial Administration
- Prepare requisitions, source quotations, and compile procurement packs.
Event and Workshop Support
- Assist in planning and executing events and workshops.
- Support logistics, registrations, and attendance tracking.
General Office Duties
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Skills and Competencies
- South African youth aged 18–34.
- Must not have previously participated in the YES programme.
- Matric qualification.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High attention to detail in data and records.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional and client-focused attitude.
