Job Description
Partner with the business to provide financial advice and support, enhancing operational quality through the execution of financial services in line with standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, align, and manage financial targets and budget goals while ensuring effective cost control to improve efficiency.
- Foster strong organizational cooperation to maintain a high standard of professional service delivery.
- Cultivate a service culture that builds rewarding relationships, encourages innovation, and enables exceptional client service.
- Conduct intervention activities compliant with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare accurate and compliant tax returns, offering proactive solutions for business tax matters.
- Apply accounting principles to record, adjust, and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain supporting documentation in accordance with financial accounting and reporting standards.
- Recommend improvements to accounting and reporting processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Provide financial advice and support for special projects to ensure successful delivery.
- Execute internal controls to uphold integrity in operations, financial practices, and risk management.
- Identify and mitigate business risks, ensuring compliance and stakeholder communication.
- Prepare and analyze business operations and financial reports.
- Deliver management information within agreed timelines and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and learning opportunities.
- Collaborate in a development culture by sharing insights, successes, and ideas.
Qualifications and Experience
- BCom Accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Financial industry experience preferred.
- Newly qualified CAs (Chartered Accountants) preferred.
