Truworths Careers – Store Administration Manager

Truworths is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Administration Manager to oversee the administrative operations of one of our dynamic retail stores. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about process and policy compliance, and has a strong understanding of risk and expense management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure adherence to administrative procedures

  • Conduct routine admin checks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

  • Maintain and update the Administration Manual with new procedural releases

  • Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Monitor and act on Daily Management Reports

  • Keep store notice boards current and relevant

  • Supervise hanger counts and conduct spot checks at service desks and fitting rooms

  • Manage staff planning, Blue Cube scheduling, and pay period closures

  • Control store expenses and support loss prevention practices

  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment

  • Facilitate in-store training and performance management

  • Implement recruitment for weekly flexi-timer staff

  • Drive in-store promotions and team engagement

  • Conduct alarm tests, evacuation drills, and refuse checks

  • Lead daily staff meetings, performance discussions (PDD), and IR processes

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative management role

  • Previous experience in retail or store management is essential

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail systems

  • Strong administrative, numerical, and analytical skills

  • Familiarity with performance management and IR practices

  • Experience with MBP processes and fashion-focused retail operations

  • Skilled in recruitment, interviewing, and training
