Job Purpose
The Senior Laboratory Analyst will perform analytical testing on raw materials, bulk, imported, finished products, and stability samples to ensure compliance with specifications. The role includes supervising personnel, maintaining Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
Key Job Outputs
- Conduct release analysis on samples.
- Timely investigation and resolution of OOS results.
- Troubleshoot HPLC, UPLC, UV, AA, Flame, and other laboratory instruments.
- Review analytical reports, lab notebooks, and other analysts’ work for accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with GLP and regulatory requirements.
- Update SOPs, analytical methods, and specifications as needed.
- Ensure efficient use of consumables and maintain stock levels.
- Oversee data integrity during HPLC analysis.
- Train junior analysts on analytical techniques.
- Coordinate with production teams on OOS investigations.
- Complete all required testing within shift deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc Chemistry, National Diploma, or BTech in Analytical Chemistry (or equivalent).
- Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical laboratory testing experience.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and compendial methods (USP/BP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
