What will you do?
As an IT Governance & Compliance Specialist, you will support the implementation and maintenance of IT Governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Your role will involve collaborating with business units to embed governance principles, monitor compliance, and enhance governance maturity. Key responsibilities include hands-on execution, technical guidance, and cross-functional teamwork to ensure effective and secure IT asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and rollout of IT governance policies and procedures.
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits against regulatory and internal standards.
- Monitor and report on governance and compliance metrics.
- Assist in implementing frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align practices with governance requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and their impact on governance and compliance.

Qualifications:
- Grade 12.

Experience:
- 4-6 years in IT Governance, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
- Hands-on experience applying governance frameworks in operational environments.
- Knowledge of privacy laws, cybersecurity standards, and regulated industries (e.g., insurance, finance, or healthcare).
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in IT governance frameworks and compliance methodologies.
- Proficiency in risk management and audit processes.
- Understanding of data privacy and protection principles.
- Strong reporting and documentation capabilities.
