Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll ensure accurate testing, calibration, and compliance with food safety standards while driving continuous improvement. Key duties include:
- Conducting analytical tests for raw materials and finished products.
- Managing data, trends, and reporting.
- Calibrating lab equipment for precise results.
- Controlling inventory of lab chemicals and consumables.
- Participating in quarterly proficiency tests.
- Ensuring adherence to Quality & Food Safety (QFS), EHS, and legal policies.
- Leading improvement projects with stakeholders.
- Resolving issues using problem-solving techniques.
- Promoting a QFS-driven team culture.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in data management and computer literacy.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
