Job Summary
G-Core Capital is seeking a highly skilled Quality Process Engineer to oversee and enhance our site’s Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will ensure product and process compliance, drive continuous improvement, and lead quality initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve the site QMS to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage audits including Process, Layered, Product, Dock, and Final Audits.
- Maintain and publish quality records and statistics, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Address and resolve Non-Conformances, Corrective Action Plans, and Audit Findings.
- Analyze customer complaints and trends to implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver quality and product training programs.
- Support site management with Continuous Improvement projects and process enhancements.
- Oversee Quality Control Inspectors, Technicians, and Visual Sorters.
- Manage MSA, SPC, PPAP, and Calibration requirements.
- Support Process/Product Changes, PFMEA/CP, and Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs).
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; quality management certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years in Quality Engineering or Quality Management within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of QMS standards (ISO/TS 16949, 9001, 14001).
- Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC.
- Analytical problem-solving with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Leadership skills to drive team performance and quality objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office, statistical analysis software, and QMS/ERP systems.
- High attention to detail with adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Lead auditor certification (IATF 16949, VDA6.3) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Customer-Specific Requirements (Stellantis, Ford, VW, Hyundai, Nissan).
