The Furniture Division of the Shoprite Group, Africa’s largest retailer, is looking for a skilled Admin Clerk (Online Shopping) to join our dynamic Online team. Job Objectives
- Gain a deep understanding of the online shopping (e-commerce) environment.
- Manage the order process from placement through to delivery.
- Engage effectively with customers using strong call centre skills and active listening.
- Coordinate communication with customers, branches, distribution centers, and courier companies to ensure timely service.
- Accurately capture credit applications and manage layby processes.
- Liaise with branches, DCs, buyers, and suppliers for order bookings, stock availability, and service calls.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (essential).
- Diploma or higher certificate (advantageous).
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience.
- Retail experience (preferred).
Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Office 365) for data collaboration.
- Experience with Office 365 Mail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Professional phone etiquette and call management abilities.
- Familiarity with the e-commerce environment.
- Basic knowledge of Magento (advantageous, training provided).
- Hardworking and team-oriented mindset.
