Key Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will lead regional PFS operational teams, collaborating with PFS Regional Managers & Divisional teams across Foods, Beverages, Snacks, Grains, and Bakeries in the Modern Trade (MT) channel. Your primary goal is to drive PepsiCo’s market leadership by ensuring Every Day Great Execution (EDGE) through strategic sales operations.

  • Accountable for volume, revenue, and profit delivery across Snacks, Food & Beverage, Grains, and Bakeries.
  • Manage 3rd Party Agency (PFS) relationships and set regional objectives (MWB), investment levels, and priorities.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance—integrating insights into regional plans by business unit (BU).
  • Oversee Regional PFS execution to meet KPIs, including productivity, waste reduction, and POP compliance.
  • Collaborate with INLAND regional SPL, NAMs, and RKAMs to align strategies.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for Modern Trade (MT) channels.
  • Conduct weekly operational reviews for continuous improvement and team development.
  • Mentor, coach, and performance-manage teams to maximize execution excellence.
  • Implement PO1 Strategy across all channels and categories.
  • Manage people scheduling, training, and budget allocation for optimal efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 3-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • 7–10 years of FMCG experience, with a strong commercial or sales background.
  • 7–10 years of managerial experience, leading high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation, selling, and customer-centric skills.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of organizational processes and controls.
