What will you do?

  • Drive customer base and revenue growth by developing and executing the retail branch strategy.
  • Lead, align, and standardize Sales Consultants’ activities to meet strategic goals.
  • Foster a service-driven culture within the branch and broader ecosystem to enhance client experience.
  • Oversee daily branch operations, strategy development, and business planning.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and embed a strong service culture.
  • Maintain compliance, quality, and risk management standards.
  • Manage HR practices for direct reports (talent development, performance, grievances, etc.).
  • Report monthly on sales and service performance.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (Area Managers, Business Owners, community forums).

Education and Experience:

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • RE1 and RE5 certifications.
  • 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognized tertiary qualification.
  • Annual Class of Business accreditation.
  • Compliant with CPD requirements.
  • 5+ years in the industry, including 3 years in leadership.
  • Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Sales strategies and stakeholder management.
  • Regulatory frameworks and Sanlam products (preferred).
  • People management, business acumen, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in project management and MS Office.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Target-driven, organized, adaptable, and resilient.
