What will you do?
- Grow the customer base and revenue by developing and executing the retail branch strategy.
- Guide and standardize the activities of Sales Consultants in alignment with business objectives.
- Foster a service-driven culture to ensure an optimal client experience.
- Oversee the daily operations and strategic planning of the Retail branch.
- Drive sales performance and maintain high service standards.
- Ensure compliance, risk management, and quality processes are upheld.
- Manage HR-related functions for direct reports, including performance, development, and capacity planning.
- Monitor and report on sales and service activities monthly.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Area Managers, Business Owners, and community forums.
Education and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 certifications.
- 120 Wealth Management credits OR FSCA-recognized tertiary qualification.
- Class of Business accreditation (annual).
- Compliant with CPD requirements.
- Minimum 5 years’ industry experience, with 3 years in leadership.
- Service management experience essential.
- Insurance sales and credit/lending experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Sales strategies and stakeholder management.
- Customer service excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of Sanlam insurance products (advantageous).
- People management and business acumen.
- Proficiency in data analytics, project management, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-driven, adaptable, and resilient.
