Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will lead the regional PFS operational teams, collaborating with PFS Regional Managers, Divisional teams, and cross-functional business units (Foods, Beverages, Snacks, Grains, and Bakeries) within the Modern Trade (MT) channel. The ASM ensures Every Day Great Execution (EDGE) by driving growth, precision execution, and operational excellence across PepsiCo’s portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver volume, revenue, and profit targets for Snacks, Food & Beverage, Grains, and Bakeries.
  • Manage 3rd Party Agency (PFS), setting regional objectives, investments, and priorities.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance to refine regional strategies.
  • Drive productivity, including waste reduction, in alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Inland regional SPL teams, NAMS, and RKAMs.
  • Develop and oversee POP monitoring/control systems.
  • Execute go-to-market strategies for the Modern Trade channel.
  • Lead weekly operational meetings to optimize team performance.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop talent to maximize execution impact.
  • Implement PO1 Strategy for seamless execution across channels.
  • Manage scheduling, budgeting, and PFS effectiveness initiatives.

Qualifications
To qualify, candidates should possess:

  • 3-year degree or equivalent, preferably in a commercial field.
  • 7-10 years’ FMCG industry experience, with 7-10 years in management.
  • Strong negotiation, sales, and customer-centric skills.
  • Solid commercial and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of organizational processes.
