Key Requirements:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12)
- Experience:
- 5+ years in logistics or courier industry
- 2+ years in a managerial or similar role
- Experience managing offsite client-facing teams
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office (Excel with Pivot Tables, Charts, Formulas)
- Legal Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of LRA and BCEA
- Soft Skills:
- Strong administrative and time management abilities
- Adaptability in fast-changing environments
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Logistics: Reliable transport and valid Code 8 driver’s license
Preferred Skills:
- Decision-making in dynamic situations
- Leading diverse teams with conflict resolution
- Performance management and productivity improvement
- Analytics, process mapping, and solution development
- Compliance with DSV policies while working autonomously
Main Purpose:
Manage site operations and administration to ensure operational excellence, client satisfaction, and alignment with company objectives through data analysis, reporting, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee site operations and SLA compliance
- Compile and analyze monthly/daily reports
- Resolve client queries and discrepancies
- Manage staff performance, leave planning, and training
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and risk management
- Conduct site meetings and resource allocation
