Role Overview
Kuda is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our BI & Analytics team. You’ll leverage large datasets to deliver actionable insights that drive key business decisions in attribution optimization, product performance, experimentation, and user engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own data initiatives: Define and champion how we use data from our tech stack.
- Analyze and build datasets: Improve understanding of KPIs, marketing performance, and user behavior.
- Develop dashboards: Design and maintain reports in Looker and other BI tools.
- Drive growth insights: Analyze customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue trends.
- Conduct deep dives: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling.
- Define KPIs: Ensure accuracy and relevance of metrics across business functions.
- Optimize experiments: Test and refine strategies for user acquisition and marketing efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with teams to translate data into business impact.
- Communicate findings: Present clear, actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a proven track record of driving business impact.
- Expertise in SQL and BI tools (e.g., Looker).
- Strong grasp of mobile app growth metrics (LTV, conversion rates, churn).
- Experience with data modeling (e.g., dbt) and version control (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of attribution frameworks and mobile app analytics.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior analysts.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Fintech, financial services, or gaming.
- Applied knowledge of statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with African markets or SKAdNetwork.
- Degree in CS, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related fields.
