Role Purpose

  • Build a sustainable Short-Term Insurance business by fostering strong relationships with intermediaries through training and technical sales support.
  • Drive market growth by creating marketing opportunities for Financial Advisors (FAs) and increasing Momentum Insure’s market share.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: Matric/Grade 12.
  • Preferred Qualification: Relevant marketing or sales degree/diploma.
  • FAIS Compliance:
    • Pre-2010 appointees: Minimum 30 FAIS credits in short-term insurance.
    • Post-2010 appointees: Full qualification per FSCA requirements (advantageous).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years in short-term insurance (broker or independent financial advisory).
    • In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial short-term insurance products.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of FAIS, FICA, and POPIA.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license and own transport.
    • Proven track record in face-to-face broker engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new Financial Advisors (FAs) and Specialist FAs.
  • Provide training and support to FAs on Momentum Insure products.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct extensive travel to engage with brokers and intermediaries.

  • Ability to cross-sell and manage risk awareness.

Additional Information
This role is based in the Western Cape. Only candidates residing in the province will be considered.
