Primary Purpose of the Job
BDO is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Development Assistant to support the Head of Business Development. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and executing initiatives to drive organizational growth and brand awareness across the nation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, fostering long-term engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address stakeholder needs and coordinate events, meetings, and conferences.
- Manage the VIP client database.
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and manage marketing materials, including social media content, newsletters, and reports.
- Assist in creating and executing national marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and service promotion.
- Present products and services to clients as needed.
Brand Awareness & Promotion:
- Strengthen BDO’s national brand identity through strategic campaigns and public relations efforts.
- Organize promotional events, webinars, and digital outreach initiatives.
- Ensure consistent and professional messaging across all platforms.
Digital Marketing & Media Management:
- Manage LinkedIn profiles for senior leadership, maintaining professional engagement.
- Oversee additional media profiles and website updates to enhance online presence.
- Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print marketing.
Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify stakeholder trends, competitor activity, and industry insights.
- Analyze feedback to improve marketing strategies and business development efforts.
Administration:
- Draft proposals, tenders, and RFQs.
- Maintain leads, proposals, and cyclic services registers.
- Administer marketing communications and client documentation processes.
- Monitor service success ratios and support the independence risk process for new clients.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to present services professionally.
- Strong organizational skills for managing reports and registries.
- Knowledge of industry trends and strategic business growth tactics.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years in marketing, stakeholder relations, or business development.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media, and CMS platforms.
- Experience in graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
