Role Purpose
As a Business Development Consultant, you will be a results-driven adviser responsible for selling personal and commercial insurance policies in line with Momentum Insure’s targets. You will work independently and as part of a team to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- FAIS Credits (minimum 30 short-term insurance credits if appointed before 2010) OR a full FSCA-recognised qualification if appointed after 2010
- FAIS Regulatory Examination (RE5)
- 12 CPD points (for one line of business) or 18 CPD points (for both commercial and personal lines)
- Minimum 3 years of short-term insurance sales experience (broker/agent)
- Regulatory compliance and accreditation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong social media networking skills
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate leads to maintain a strong income pipeline.
- Achieve a minimum of 8.5 written policies per month.
- Update Lead Generation Matrix weekly.
- Conduct comprehensive client needs analysis.
- Meet performance targets and stay informed on competitor products.
- Maintain product expertise and compliance with industry regulations.
- Adhere to professional appearance standards and FAIS fit-and-proper requirements.
