What will you do?
- Drive customer and revenue growth by developing and executing the retail branch strategy.
- Lead and align Sales Consultants’ goals and activities with the branch’s strategic objectives.
- Foster a client-centric service culture within and beyond the branch.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including strategy development and business planning.
- Ensure consistent sales delivery and champion exceptional service standards.
- Maintain compliance, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Manage HR practices for direct reports (talent, performance, development, grievances, etc.).
- Report monthly on sales and service performance.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Area Managers and community forums.
Education and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 certifications.
- 120 Wealth Management credits OR FSCA-recognized tertiary qualification.
- Class of Business accreditation (annual).
- CPD compliance (current and past cycles).
- 5+ years in the industry, with 3+ years in leadership.
- Service management experience.
- Insurance sales and credit/lending experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Sales strategy and stakeholder engagement.
- Customer service excellence and regulatory knowledge.
- Familiarity with Sanlam products (preferred).
- People management and business acumen.
- Computer literacy and data analytics.
- Project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership, adaptability, and resilience.
