What will you do?
As a Sanlam Financial Planner in Oudtshoorn, you will provide professional financial advice, planning, and tailored solutions to both new and existing clients. Your role includes acquiring sustainable, high-quality business while maintaining long-term client loyalty. You will work within a compliant and ethical framework to uphold Sanlam’s reputation.
Key responsibilities:

Business Growth
- Drive sales and revenue targets for single and recurring premiums.
- Promote the Sanlam brand while adhering to “Treating Customers Fairly” principles.
- Align your efforts with market segmentation and customer profiles.

Networking & Prospecting
- Generate leads through face-to-face interactions, social networks, and client referrals.
- Strengthen relationships and identify sales opportunities in the middle-to-high-net-worth market.
- Execute targeted campaigns and monitor client activities for gaps and opportunities.

Client Consultations & Sales
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis using digital tools.
- Present customized financial solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and review client portfolios annually.

Client Service
- Deliver exceptional, ethical, and professional service.
- Resolve queries promptly to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Stay updated on industry trends to provide informed advice.

Reporting & Monitoring
- Track client interactions, issued business, and revenue against targets.
- Update client records and maintain workflow systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12
- FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements (including Regulatory Examination if registered with FSCA for over 24 months).
